Description:
The Storytelling Development Fund provides financial assistance to Prince Edward Island producers and/or production companies for scriptwriting costs required for film, TV and screen based projects.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is up to 50% of project costs. The department’s contribution will not exceed 50% of eligible costs and normally not exceed a maximum of $5,000.

contact Shannon Pratt through telephone at (902) 626-8613, and email at slpratt@gov.pe.ca , to discuss the project and the application requirements before applying;
complete and submit a separate proposal for each project;
submit their proposal and detailed industry standard budget via email only.
Applicants who are approved for funding will receive a letter outlining the terms and conditions of funding.

Applicants must submit:
- 1submit the completed application and proposal;
- 2submit a final report upon project completion, no funds can be released for any subsequent grant approved through the division until the overdue report has been received.
