Description:
The Screenwriters Development Fund (SDF) will consider investment in scriptwriting costs for film and TV projects which achieve the following objectives:
- 1support the creation and development of film and TV script projects by Nova Scotian filmmakers;
- 2strengthen the film and TV industry by developing Nova filmmakers, writers, and producers;
- 3advance diversity, inclusion, and gender parity.
Comments on Funding:
The funding will not exceed 50% of eligible costs and normally not exceed a maximum of $20,000.

contact the program officer to discuss the project and the application requirements before applying;
submit the application and the supporting documentation via email to creativeindustries@novascotia.ca by 4pm on the application deadline;
submit a separate application for each project.
