Description:

The Career Development program is designed to recognize and encourage arts professionals who have demonstrated exceptional artistic talent and potential, and who are pursuing a career in the arts.
The Professionalization and Promotion component is designed to assist professional artists to produce tools related to the promotion of the artist’s work and career with a view to broadening the dissemination of their work and diversifying their sources of funding.

Deadline:

March 3, 2025 May 1, 2025 July 1, 2025 September 1, 2025 November 3, 2025

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

1. Be a Canadian citizen, have an affiliation with a First Nation on Turtle Island, be a permanent resident of Canada or have an application for permanent resident in process;
2. Have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year (12 months) prior to the application deadline;
3. Must qualify as a professional artist according to the guidelines in Appendix 1: artsnb Definition of a Professional Artist.
4. Artists who present a project in a discipline other than the one in which they normally operate must have at least one presentation or work in that discipline in a professional context

2. submit the application by 11:59pm on the deadline date.

1. Project description, max. 350 words
Balanced project budget
2. Artist’s CV

4. CV and Samples of work of the professional being hired or the collaborator providing a service (see Appendix 2:
