Description:
The City of Charlottetown offers small scale grants to community groups and individuals that want to contribute to the overall sustainability of the City. Eligible projects are community driven and create meaningful impact and community awareness for the goals and actions outlined in the City’s Sustainability Plan. Projects must take place in Charlottetown.
Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. not-for-profit organizations, institutions, social
enterprises, and individuals.
2. Businesses can apply but must partner with a not-for-profit organization. Partner
Institutions – those funded in part, or in full by the City of Charlottetown – can
apply but must partner with a not-for-profit organization. In both cases, the notfor-profit organization must be the lead applicant.
3. Applicants can submit multiple applications for different project

Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. A financial statement summarizing expenditures,
2. Copies of all paid invoices and receipts with verification of payment,
3. A one-page report on the project and its results in terms of meeting
applicant and program objectives/purpose (template will be provided),
4. Photographs of project,
5. When feasible, copies of materials produced,
6. Completed claim form (template will be provided.
