Description:

The Industrial Energy Efficiency Program helps industrial facility managers in New Brunswick with advice and incentives for studies, projects, and energy management information systems.The project stream provides incentives on energy saving projects, including: process improvements, hvac systems, refrigeration, building envelope, compressed air, energy intensity reduction, fuel switching.

Comments on Funding:

Funding for energy audit, feasibility studies or service studies for projects reducing electricity is up to 100% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $20,000 for small industries and $40,000 for large industries.
Project incentives for projects reducing electricity are the lesser of $0.108/kWh or 50% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $250,000 for small industries and $500,000 for large industries.
Project incentives for non-electric projects reducing greenhouse gases are 25% of capital costs.
