The Scotians Advisor Program supports Nova Scotia businesses looking to build their export capacity, improve their global competitiveness and/or enhance their global
connections in support of their export goals. The Program facilitates introductions to
experienced international business professionals with expertise relating to the
needs identified by businesses.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

1. Be a Nova Scotia registered businesses (registered on the Registry of Joint Stock Companies)
in good standing
2. Be engaged or plan to engage in commercial activities outside of Nova Scotia;
3. Have the majority of its workforce reside in Nova Scotia (some exceptions may
apply)
4. Have a fully-developed exportable product, service, technology, or intellectual
property that can be sold into a market outside of Nova Scotia;
5. Have an export plan outlining the following:
a. The products or services you plan to market;
b. Your business’ target market(s) and distribution channels with supporting research; and
c. Export growth goals over the next three years
