Description:

Businesses can receive up to $3 rebate for each four-foot LED tube installed.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a rebate of $3 per lamp up to 30% of the pre-tax cost.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be businesses that have an active commercial electricity account and are located in an existing building. This applies to retrofits only.

Product Eligibility:
1. The lamp must be classified as linear T8 or T5 LED, be DLC Certified ,4-foot in length and rated for use with external ballasts. Internal driver lamps are not eligible for a rebate.
2. T5 LED tubes must be replacing 54W fluorescent tubes.
3. T8 tubes must be purchased on or after August 1, 2018. T5 tubes must be purchased on or after August 1, 2020.

Application Steps:

Applicants must apply online or mail their completed application.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit a copy of their purchase receipts to their electricity utility

Other Things to Note:

Newfoundland Power and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro may visit applicants facility and inspect the lighting installation at any time within 15 months from when the rebate was processed.
