Description:
The Business Rebate Program provides financial support to help businesses offset the costs of energy efficient products at their facility.
Comments on Funding:
The funding is in the form of a rebate of 25% of eligible project costs. There is a lifetime cap of $250,000 per eligibleproject site.

Eligibility:
The applicant must:
- be classified under the Small Industrial, General Service 1, or General Service 2 Rate Schedule as per NB Power’s Rate Schedules and Policies,
- be located within New Brunswick,
- have authorization to approve installation of equipment at the Eligible Project Site,
- propose projects that replace existing equipment, decrease energy use, and result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Application Steps:
The applicant must:
1
complete the online registration form
2
develop scope, if he decides to proceed after Step 1.

submit a pre-approval form,
4
implement the project, after approval is granted by Program Staff,
5
once the project is complete, he can request the incentive,
6
once NB Power has approved the payment request, the Incentive will be paid by direct deposit to participant’s account within 60 days.
