Energy Management Information Systems (EMIS)

Description:

Energy Management Information Systems (EMIS) makes energy visible to organizations through the use of energy meters, data collection, and information analysis. This enables Nova Scotian industries to drive energy improvement through enhanced energy information. Efficiency Nova Scotia provides incentives each step of the way to help the applicant's organization become more efficient. 

Comments on Funding:

Funding will take the form of:

  1. 1
    an audit incentive of up to 50% (up to $15,000) to develop a preliminary assessment determining;
  2. 2
    a planning incentive of up to 50% (up to $25,000) to develop a customized business case and roadmap for successfully implementing EMIS at the applicant's facility;
  3. 3
    an implementation & operation incentive of 50% (up to $60,000) to provide new energy meters, data collection and storage infrastructure, specialized software, and support to help the applicant's organization use EMIS to drive energy savings.

  • be businesses;
  • be located in Nova Scotia.

Eligibility and support will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
