Description:

Mount Allison University has a growing portfolio of opportunities available to fund entrepreneurial ideas. With entrepreneurship funding, the applicant could: 

  1. 1
    start a new business;
  2. 2
    pivot or expand an existing business;
  3. 3
    create a social initiative;
  4. 4
    pursue a cultural project.

Comments on Funding:

Funding will take the form of:

  1. 1
    Ignite Grants between $3,000-$5,000 (for part-time commitment and solutions not fully developed);
  2. 2
    Entrepreneurship Internship Funding of $10,000 (for full-time commitment and several potential solutions to a real problem developed).

Eligibility:

The applicant:

  • must be any returning Mount A student in good academic standing may apply.
  • can apply on his/her own or with up to three other Mount A students.

Applicants must email their completed application, and a link to their video, to careers@mta.ca by January 31 at 11. p.m.
