Business and Professional Development for Publishers

Description:

The Business and Professional Development for Publishers is a project based grant program intended to provide New Brunswick book and periodical publishers with funding to support their travel-based business development initiatives and with professional development activities for their staff and/or Board members. 

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to 60% of eligible expenses, to an annual maximum of $2,500.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be New Brunswick book and periodical publishers,
  • have received funding from the "Program of Assistance to Book Publishers" or the "Program for Periodical Publishers" within the last year.

Application Steps:

Applicants must submit the original application form and supporting documents to Arts Development Branch,
Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport, PO Box 6000, Fredericton, NB E3B 5H1.

Documentation Needed: 

Applicants must submit:

  • the application form with any additional sheets that were required, completed and signed,
  • a letter of confirmation of enrolment, in case of training sessions,
  • detailed information on the event, as provided by its organizer, where applicable.

Other Things to Note:

Applications for the current fiscal year will be considered from April 15th until such a time as the program budget is fully allocated.
