Description:

The Information Technology (IT) Planning Assistance is for helping new and existing Prince Edward Island small businesses get advice to estimate the information technologies needed for their business.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to 50% of eligible consultant costs in connection with conducting an information technology assessment, identification of appropriate technologies and development of an implementation plan, up to maximum of $2,500 per business.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:

  • be Prince Edward Island-based new and existing small businesses,
  • be organized as sole proprietorships, partnerships, cooperatives or limited liability companies,
  • have well-grown export business and marketing plans,
  • not be involved in IT

Application Steps:

1

submit the online application form before any financial or legal commitment is made on the project,

accept the letter of offer forwarded to them which shall create a contract between Innovation PEI and the applicant

​Each business will be allowed 1 application per 12 month period from application date.

Documentation Needed: 

The applicant for either service - translation and/or interpretation (simultaneous translation) must submit:

  • the online application form,
  • a business and a marketing plan project,
  •  a feasibility or market study,
  • a competitive analysis,
  • a Resume,
  • the consultant’s proposal(s) and the study’s terms of reference, if the application concerns a study.

Other Things to Note:

The program is not listed among Innovation PEI programs.
