Description:

GradWorks: Employer Incentive Program matches SMEs across Nova Scotia with skilled, talented NSCC graduates from three eligible programs. It provides SMEs with up to 66% salary support. 

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to 66% salary support – to a maximum of $25,000 – when hiring a qualified NSCC graduate for up to a one-year period.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:

  • be a Nova Scotia SME,
  • be in most business sectors, except retail/wholesale, real estate, government services and services of a personal or social nature, and with a preference given to business-to-business organizations focused on export and innovation.
  • employ a NSCC graduate.

The graduates must:

  • have completed an eligible NSCC program within the last three years,
  • have graduated from one of the following programs: Human Resource Management (Advanced Diploma), Industrial Engineering Technology (Diploma) or Occupational Health & Safety (Certificate).
