Description:
The Agriculture Awareness Sub-Program provides funding to develop and coordinate promotional events, campaigns and education activities to increase agriculture awareness and food literacy and to create activities linking the agriculture industry with schools and the public to promote agriculture.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is 50% of eligible expenses, up to $10,000 per project.The Department reserves the right to consider additional amounts for funding on a case-by-case basis.

The applicant must:
- registered not-for-profit groups,
- Mi’kmaq First Nations and other Indigenous groups,
- agriculture producers,
- agriculture industry organizations,
- agri-businesses,
- agri-processors
