Community Celebration Fund

Description:

The Community Celebration Fund provides funding of up to $2,500 to non-profit organization to assist with costs to present a festival or event.

Comments on Funding:

The applicant is eligible for up to $2,500 to assist with costs to present a festival or event.

Accepting applications starting February 15, 2022

Deadline:

April 15, 2022

Eligibility:

The applicant must:

  • Prince Edward Island non-profit organizations,
  • organizing a festival or event which attracts visitors to PEI and provides them opportunities to experience Prince Edward Island’s heritage, culture, and cuisine. The festival or event must clearly and specifically target participants and spectators and align with the priorities of the PEI Culture Action Plan and should reflect a quality PEI cultural experience and be environmentally sensitive.

Application Steps:

submit online all supporting documents with their completed application,

sign the funding agreement, if the case, to receive 80% of funds. The final 20% will be released upon receipt of final invoice and the approval of the final reporting documents, due before March 31st.

Documentation Needed: 

The applicant must submit:

  • a fully completed application form,
  • a pre-established budget including proposed revenues and expenses with all funding resources and requests,
  •  financial statements of the event from previous year(s),
  • detailed sponsorship and marketing plans.
  • a COVID-19 Operational Plan and a viability plan. 

The final 20% will be released upon receipt of final invoice and the approval of the final reporting documents, due before March 31st.

Other Things to Note:

Applications will be accepted between February 15th 2022, to April 15th 2022 at 4pm.
