Type of Program:
The Technology and Science Adoption Sub-Program supports the adoption and/or implementation of best practices, new technologies, and processes that will improve efficiency and profit margins. Acceptable projects include efficiency and automation assessments, process-improvement adoption or evaluation, and monitoring and sensing technology installation.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is as follows:
- 50% of assistance up to a maximum of $5,000 for eligible consultancy fees for assessments,
- 35% of assistance up to a maximum of $5,000 for eligible process improvement expenses,
- 70% of assistance up to a maximum of $2,500 for eligible sensors and monitoring tool expenses.
The maximum contribution is $5,000 per project, $10,000 per farm and $25,000 over the life of the CAP Framework Agreement (2018-2023).
