Description:

The Industry Research Coordination Sub-Program supports commodity groups and industry organizations to implement activities related to the coordination of research for their sector.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is as follows:

  • 85% of assistance up to a maximum of $65,000 per year for up to three years for emerging and/or developing sectors,
  • 50% of assistance up to a maximum of $40,000 per year for up to three years for mature and/or established sectors.

Some projects may be eligible to apply for an extension after the third year of the original project.

The applicant must:

  • agriculture industry organizations, clubs, and associations,
  • provincial and territorial governments.

Applicants must submit their completed applications via regular mail or email to the attention of the Agriculture Research and Innovation Program Officer.

Documentation Needed: 

The applicant must submit:

  • the completed application form,
  • a project proposal.

Other Things to Note:

This program is part of the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (2018-2023).
The Agriculture Research and Innovation Program will support farm-level research, innovation and adoption projects that are designed to increase the competitiveness, productivity and profitability of the Prince Edward Island agriculture industry.
