Description:

The Summer Institute is a 3-month intensive accelerator which offers participants funding for living costs and prototyping, and skills training and coaching as they turn their vision into a livelihood. 

Comments on Funding:

Funding will take the form of:

  1. 1
    a scholarship of up to $5,000 (these scholarships support up to three team members during the program).
  2. 2
    a grant of up to $2,000 for prototype development.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • have a creative business or innovative product/service idea;
  • be older than 19.

Application Steps:

1

Applicants must register for F6S and build their profile;

2

Applicants must fill out the application on the F6S platform;

3

Applicants must film a one-minute video pitch about their business;

4

Applicants must upload the films on YouTube or Vimeo and include the link in the application;

5

Applicants must attend a phone interview;

6

Applicants must pitch their business to the selection panel;

7

Applicants must receive an acceptance letter, if successful.
